Round 2 of the Firside battle was held over at Anglian Windows Ground this week. With 11 men this week things were certainly looking more positive than pre match last week. 
The first half was very interesting in that Firside played 5 across their midfield and prevented us from playing our particular style of football. On a pitch that has never been good to us we appeared to be facing the "brick wall".

A slight tweek in formation/manpower paid dividends in the second half as on 9 minutes Jack Larter jinxed past two defenders and sent a killer pass across to Luke Copping to dispatch home. On 17 minutes MOM Aidan Rayner sent home a lovely free kick that elluded the Firside keeper and fell just under the bar. Firside were soaking up alot of pressure and were themselves looking for a way back into this game. On 34 minutes Jack Larter put the game out of reach with a fine solo goal.
